WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No.: 199,2012, the Queensbury Town Board
established the "Rehabilitation for Filter #4 Capital Project Fund #191," which established
funding for expenses associated with the purchase of materials and labor associated with the
installation of the rehabilitation for Filter#4 rebuild and the purchase and delivery of approximately
1,500 cubic feet of media for Filter#4 at the Town Water Department (Project#1), and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No.: 278,2012, the Town Board established
the "Water Department Pump Drive Capital Project Fund #193," which established funding for
expenses associated with the purchase and installation of an ABB Variable Frequency Drive for
High Lift#3 at the Town Water Department (Project#2), and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No.: 193,2013, the Town Board established
the "Water Department Boiler Improvements Capital Project Fund #197," which established
funding for expenses associated with certain boiler improvements at the Town Water Department
(Project#3), and
WHEREAS, the Town's Water Superintendent has advised that the Projects are complete
and the Funds can be closed, and
WHEREAS, the Town's accounting records show that there is approximately $10,600
remaining in Capital Project Fund #191, approximately $3,220 remaining in Capital Project Fund
#193 and approximately $5,710 remaining in Capital Project Fund #197, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to close these Capital Project Funds and transfer the
Funds' remaining balances back to the Town's Water Fund #40 Fund Balance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Budget Officer to close the Rehabilitation for Filter #4 Capital Project Fund #191, Water
Department Pump Drive Capital Project Fund #193, and Water Department Boiler Improvements
Capital Project Fund #197 and transfer the Funds' remaining balances back to the Water
Department's Fund Balance, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Budget
Officer, Accountant and Water Superintendent to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate all terms of this Resolution.
