RESOLUTION TO HIRE FULL TIME REINREATION DIRECTOR
RESOLUTTON Nn 1 �1 Introduced by Mr. Michel Brandt who moved for
j its adoption , seconded by Mrs. Frances Walter:
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Recreation Commission has recommended to the
Queensbury Town Board the hiring of a full time recreation director,
and
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Recreation Commission has interviewed and
selected for their recommendation to the Queensbury Town Board a
Mr. Harold R. Hansen, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Tan of Queensbury hereby appoints
Mr. Harold R. Hansen as the Queensbury Recreation Director at an
annual salary of $12 ,500 effective as soon as he can be physically
-- present and ending December 31, 1978.
Duly adopted by the following vote :
Ayes: Mr. Olson, Mrs.Walter, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Brandt

Supervisor Brandt- spoke on the duties of the Recreation Directr, such
k as seeking out funds for the town' s programs.
