FOR EMPLOYEES IN TOWN CLERK AND TAX RECEIVER OFFICES,
PROMOTING IRMA HAMBLIN TO IST DEPUTY RECEIVER OF TAXES
AND ASSESSMENT POSITION, AND ELIMINATING SECOND DEPUTY
RECEIVER OF TAXES AND ASSESSMENTS POSITION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Town Clerk and Tax Receiver (Town Clerk) has
recommended the promotion of Irma Hamblin, currently the Town's 2nd Deputy Receiver of Taxes and
Assessments, to the vacant 1St Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments position, as a result of the
restructuring of the Town Clerk and Tax Receiver offices, and
WHERES, the Town Clerk has further recommended certain salary and grade increases for
employees within her offices related to such restructuring, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize such requested promotion and salary and
grade increases, contingent upon the elimination of the currently established 2nd Deputy Receiver of
Taxes and Assessments position,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the promotion
of Irma Hamblin to the 1St Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments position and the elimination of
the 2nd Deputy Receiver of Taxes and Assessments position previously established by Town Board
Resolution No.: 73,2003, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Clerk and Tax
Receiver's recommendations for salary and grade increases for employees within the Town Clerk and
Tax Receiver Offices effective as of April 28th, 2014 prorated to their weekly rate going forward,
with such new salaries and grade levels to be as follows:

BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Town
Clerk/Tax Receiver and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate all terms of this Resolution.
