1. RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF JOSEPH PASHBY AND
ZACHARY BENNETT AS TEMPORARY, SEASONAL LABORERS TO
WORK AT TOWN CEMETERIES
RESOLUTION NO.: 167,2014

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Cemetery Superintendent has requested Town Board authorization to hire
Joseph Pashby and Zachary Bennett as Temporary, Seasonal Laborers to work for the Cemetery
Department for a total of approximately 440 hours (each), such employment proposed to commence
on or about May 16t1i 2014, and
WHEREAS, funds for such positions have been budgeted for in the Town Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Joseph Pashby and Zachary Bennett as Temporary, Seasonal Laborers for the Cemetery Department
for a total of approximately 440 hours each commencing on or about May 16t1i 2014, subject to the
Town successfully completing a pre-employment physicals and background checks as
reasonably necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired, and drug and/or alcohol

screenings, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such Temporary, Seasonal Laborers shall be paid $10.00 per hour as set
forth in Town Board Resolution No.: 462,2013 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Cemetery Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF MIGUEL ROSADO
AS PART-TIME COURT OFFICER
RESOLUTION NO.: 168,2014

WHEREAS, there is a vacancy in a part-time Town Court Officer position in the Town of
Queensbury's Justice Court, and
WHEREAS, the Town Justices have recommended that the Town Board hire Miguel A.
Rosado, Jr. in such position, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board concurs with such hiring recommendation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Miguel A. Rosado, Jr. as a part-time Court Officer effective on or about May 16t1i 2014 at the
hourly rate of pay of$15.00 as set forth in Town Board Resolution No.: 462,2013, and subject to
the Town successfully completing a background check as reasonably necessary to judge fitness

for the duties for which hired and/or drug and/or alcohol screening, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes payment in the amount of$25.89 per
service to Mr. Rosado for service of any paper required by Town Court or any Town of Queensbury
Department, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Town Justices and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any necessary forms and take any actions
necessary to effectuate this Resolution.

WARREN COUNTY SOIL&WATER OVERVIEW OF MS4 CONTRACT WITH TOWN
PRESENTATION BY JIM LIEBERUM, Soil & Water Conservation District Manager
PROPOSED CODE WORDING & ZONING CHANGES
PRESENTATION BY CRAIG BROWN, Director of Planning, Zoning & Code Compliance
CLAUDIA K. BRAYMER, ESQ, Law Firm of Caffry & Flower spoke to the Town Board
regarding the proposed Zoning changes and more specifically the use of zip lines.
JOHN SALVADOR'S RE-ZONING REQUEST
JOHN SALVADOR gave presentation regarding his rezoning application and requested waiver
of an additional application fee, noting that he had previously paid when initial rezoning
application was submitted in 2005.
Town Board agreed to waive additional fee.
