WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Water Superintendent has recommended that the
Town Board authorize the promotion of Paul Finch from Water Maintenance Worker I to the
existing position of Water Maintenance Supervisor within the Town's Water Department as Mr.
Finch has the required job experience and has placed successfully on the Civil Service test for the
position, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize the requested promotion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the promotion
of Paul Finch from Water Maintenance Worker I to Water Maintenance Supervisor within the Town
Water Department effective on or about July 8th, 2014 at the rate of pay specified in the Town's
CSEA Union Agreement (Agreement) for the position for the year 2014, subject to a ninety (90)
day probationary period in accordance with the Agreement and any other applicable Civil Service
requirements, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Water Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
