WHEREAS, SUNY Adirondack has requested authorization from the Queensbury Town
Board to conduct a 5k Race in support of the SUNY Adirondack CARES Fund as follows:
SPONSOR SUNY Adirondack
EVENT 5k Race
DATE Saturday, October 11th 2014
TIME 8:30 a.m. (to be completed in approximately one hour)
PLACE Beginning and ending at SUNY Adirondack
(Letter and map depicting course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes SUNY Adirondack to
conduct its 5k Race within the Town of Queensbury as delineated in the preambles of this Resolution
contingent upon receipt of proof of insurance from SUNY Adirondack, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.
