RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR QUOTES REGARDING
THE SALE AND REMOVAL OF WOOD FOR
TOWN CEMETERY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury's Cemetery Superintendent wishes to arrange for the
sale and removal of certain wood that has been cut down in an area located between the Pine View
Cemetery and the Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home as will be set forth in a Request for Quotes to
be prepared by the Cemetery Superintendent and/or Town Purchasing Agent, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize such Request for Quotes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town's
Cemetery Superintendent and/or Town Purchasing Agent to prepare and issue a Request for Quotes
for the sale and removal of wood located in an area between the Pine View Cemetery and the Regan
Denny Stafford Funeral Home, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that once the quotes are received and reviewed by the Town Cemetery
Superintendent and/or Purchasing Agent, the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs that funding for such
purchase shall be by transfer of $125,522 from the Town's Capital Reserve Fund #64 to Heavy
Equipment Account No.: 04-5130-2040 and the Town Budget Officer shall amend the 2014 Town
Budget, make any adjustments, budget amendments, transfers or prepare any documentation
necessary to effectuate payment, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Highway Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that this Resolution is subject to a permissive referendum in accordance with the
provisions of Town Law Article 7 and the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Clerk
to publish and post such notices and take such other actions as may be required by law.
